THE PROCESS- WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Please note, there is a $300.00 order minimum requirement on all custom orders.

Initial Inquiry
The first step in the process is to fill out the contact form on the “Contact” page so we can gather all the information about your wedding or event!

Tasting & Consultation
We will schedule a tasting and consultation so you can discuss your vision and try our delicious products. We recommend scheduling an appointment at least four months prior to your event (the sooner, the better). Cake Tastings are $70.00 and Cake + Dessert Tastings are $90.00. For the Cake Tasting you will select (4) cake flavors to try. For the Cake + Dessert Tasting you will select (4) cake flavors and (5) dessert items to try. All tastings are currently to-go followed by a scheduled call.

You can also book your wedding or event without a tasting, but a consultation call is required.

Contract & Sketch
After you decide to finalize with Palette Cakes, we will forward a contract to save your date. There is a 50% nonrefundable retainer due at this time. After the contract is signed, the designing process will begin for any custom items! The design process includes a sketch collaboration and vision board!


Final Deposit
The final payment for your order will be due one month prior to your event.


Delivery & Setup
Palette Cakes offers delivery and set up for weddings and events. Please see our order minimum requirement for deliveries and fees for the area below (the delivery fee can be included in the order minimum). Very large orders or areas not listed here will receive a custom quote. Pickup options are available for orders that do not meet the order minimum requirement for delivery.

  • Sacramento/Carmichael/Roseville/Surrounding Areas- $650.00, $80.00 delivery fee

  • Woodland/Davis- $1,000.00, $120.00 delivery fee

  • Winters- $1,200.00, $150.00 delivery fee

  • Placerville Area- $1,400.00, $180.00 delivery fee

  • Jackson Area- $1,400.00, $200.00 delivery fee

  • Napa Valley/Sonoma- $1,800.00, $325.00 delivery fee

  • San Francisco Bay Area- $2,000.00, $395.00 delivery fee

  • Lake Tahoe- $2,400.00, $395.00 delivery fee

Pre-Orders from our Bakery Menu for birthdays, special smaller celebrations, and parties are welcome. Please fill out the form on our Contact Page to place your order. Acceptance based on availability and pickup is required. We recommend placing your pre-order at least 2 weeks in advance.
